Travelport to announce plans to float on London stock market
Market sentiment will be tested this week when Travelport, the online travel booking company, announces plans to float on the London stock market.
A host of other privately-owned companies, including fashion retailer New Look and Merlin Entertainments, the owner of Madame Tussauds and Warwick Castle, may bring forward their flotation plans if Travelport´s listing proves successful.
Travelport´s flotation, which is expected later this week, is expected to value the company at about £1.8bn.
